Open Casting: Film Crew WANTED for short film

Hello, My name is Bobby Ashley and I’m seventeen years old from Brooklyn New York. My passion is film-making. I’m looking for a great film crew to make my debut project the best. This is a non-pay job however It can stop teenagers from using drugs and dying at an early age.

Film title-Drugs Ain’t The Answer

Synopsis-

April, a hard working woman that’s making ends meet to keep
her family together. Since her mother’s death, her younger brother and
sister has been using drugs to solve their problems. China is selling
crack cocaine with her boyfriend Malik and Carlos is a alcoholic. April
is trying to find a way to keep her family safe before it’s to late.

Please bring film equipment to the set.

CREW NEEDED:

* two camra operators

* sound- two boom pole operators

* electric-light operator and grip
operator. Also, bring a monitor and headphones to listen and see the scenes in different angles.

Food will be provided on set. Everyone report on set by 12:00pm. Lunch
from 12-1pm. We start shooting from 1-4pm. A four hour shoot. Names
will be listed in the credits of crew.

Filming will be in Brooklyn, New York. ONLY NEW YORK CITY RESIDENTS ARE ABLE FOR CREW VOLUNTEERING.

Filming Dates-August 16-20(week one) and August 23-26(week two). I’m shooting one scene a day. It’s nine scenes. Email me for address and directions.

Casting Call and Audition Submissions for Music Video

I am casting a music video in Manhattan, NYC tomorrow Wednesday July 21st or possibly Thursday July 22nd and I am looking for some kid actors and also a few adult roles to come in and audition.

The music video is for this up and coming British artist and should be an incredible fun experience. The shoot will be on Saturday July 24th so keep that in mind availability wise.

The roles that I am looking for are as follows:

13-14 Year Old Black Boy- A skinny boy is preferable. I also need a young boy who can act and is not afraid to perform in front of people because we will need him to freestyle in one of the scenes.

5 basketball players all ethnic backgrounds apply I would like an urban feel to the characters. The basketball players can range from 12-16 years old.

1 Black Woman (Early 30′s)- to portray the mother of the young 13-14 year old boy. I need an attractive, tall, slim woman who can portray an emotional character.

1 White Male (Early 40′s) Heavy built (but not fat) who either has a blond comb over or balding. The character should look like a regular Bob or Joe.

All of these roles are paid for the day of shooting.

I also need a few extras 12-16 year old Urban kids of all races that will not get paid but it should be a fun experience. We are looking for these extras to play the roles of thugs, tough girls, sweet girls and cute boys.

Clark + Huot is a brand consulting firm from Canada that has recently opened a new office in New York City. We are looking to build a library of emerging to established photographers for future advertising and branding projects, specifically fashion, lifestyle, still life and food photographers.

Please drop off portfolios for review between MONDAY, JUNE 28 – TUESDAY, JUNE 29 BETWEEN 10 AM AND 6 PM.

Portfolios should be dropped off at the Clark + Huot office: 325 West 38th Street, NYC.

Portfolio reviews will be conducted on Wednesday and Thursday.

Photographers should pickup their portfolios on Friday between 10am and 6pm
