ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
TV Media Buyer (Mid-Level)
We seek a Media Buyer/Planner with a proven track record in TV advertising to spearhead our buying efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses the drive and creativity to locate high impact initiatives and see them through to all stages of execution.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing effective TV ad campaigns, auditing and tracking campaigns to ensure proper flights, and analyzing internal data and coordinating focus groups to measure performance. This position will also be responsible for functioning as the liaison with Sales to obtain campaign feedback from customers, reporting to management on the progress of initiatives, and recommending out of the box solutions for brand positioning.
The candidate must be eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship), must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and have 3+ years experience in TV advertising buying (financial industry a big plus). The candidate must also possess expert understanding of TV publishing process and data points, have outstanding negotiation skills, have a demonstrated history of delivering results and be comfortable utilizing third party research and reputation management tools in measuring the success of the campaign.
This position also requires the ability to conduct competitor research, have familiarity with metrics such as Nelsen ratings, TNS media intelligence, and similar services, possess knowledge of campaign optimization and measurement, have the ability to multitask and perform in a high paced dynamic environment, and have excellent relationship building and communication skills. ***Please indicate your salary requirement for further review and consideration***
